Knatchbull
Bullmastiffs
would
like to express a huge congratulations to
Kate Darbyshire and "Hilfy"
for their outstanding
working accomplishments in our wonderful breed - the
BULLMASTIFF, which is being highlighted in the ABA ROM Book.
I can not express enough the pride and respect I have for this
pair.  This is their accomplishments: MOTCH Rumblinpawz' Blueberry CGC, RN (sire: BISS Am . Can.
Ch. Mister Worf of Knatchbull, dam: Knatchbull's Khaylar, DOB
April 14, 1997)
Hilfy was the #1 obedience Bullmastiff in
Canada every year from 1990 - 2003: #9 Working Group 1999,
#2 in 2000, #1 in 2001, #5 in 2002, and #2 in 2003.
Leading up to this, Hilfy obtained her CD in May /98, her CDX in
Apr?99, her UD in Aug/00 and her OTCHX & MOTCH by Apr/03.
In summer 2008, at 11 years of age, Hilfy came out of retirement
to try Rally and obtained her RN in three straight trials,
including a Novic B class win with a perfect score of 100!
The MOTCH, or Master Obedience Trial
Champion, is obtained in Canada by a point system based on
scores of 190 or more in Open & 185 or more in Utility, plus at
least one class win. It is not awarded regardless of
points accumulated, until the dog has achieved a UDX (in Canada,
5 double Q's, Open & Utility in the same trial, but not
depending on score or placement).
Above is Hilfy and Kate getting her
RN at the age of 11, by winning the Novice B class with a
perfect score of 100!!!
Update:
We would like to send out our deepest condolences to Kate,
dear Hilfy passed away on August 1st, 2009 at the age of 12
years 3 1/2 months, she is missed.

Best in Show National Specialty winners in Canada, Multiple
Award of Merit winners in Canada and the United States at
National Specialties, Winners Dog and Winners Bitch at American
Bullmastiff National Specialty with record entries, Multiple
group winner at All Breed Level, Top Obedience Bullmastiff in
Canada and ranked among top 10 in the Working Dog Group. Most of
our dogs are owner/breeder handled to their prestigious wins!! |
