Can. Ch. Knatchbull's Matayko CGC, CGN
Taya, (Ch
Knatchbull’s Matayko CGC, CGN), lives in Toronto, Ontario with her
owner Amy Lewis. Taya is co-owned by us. Taya is from our
December 2000 litter out of Stormy (Ch Rumblinpawz Sudden Storm)
and an American male, Simon (Am/Can Ch Hanover’s Simon of
Millcreek). Taya was shown as a puppy and finished her
Championship easily. She also has her Canine Good Citizen (CGC)
and her Canine Good Neighbor (CGN) designations. Taya has had her
hips and elbows certified by OVC and her thyroid screened.
Taya is a
wonderful, spirited red girl who is affectionately known as The
Princess Taya. She is highly intelligent, knows what she likes
and doesn’t like and tells us all the time! She is a very comical
dog to live with and keeps her owner laughing all the time with
her antics. She is also a quick learner and loves to learn new
things. She consistently placed with top honours in all of her
obedience levels at Campaign Dog Academy. Taya is quite an active
Bullmastiff who loves to go walking, running and hiking. She has
also taken courses in basic agility with one of her bullmastiff
friends. Taya was bred once and had 7 puppies, born by c-section
in January 2004. One of Taya’s puppies is very much her
twin, so you can’t miss Ruby in the ring!
Canada's First Bullmastiff Rally Title?
I just thought I would share some exciting news with you
all and let you know that the Princess Taya got her Novice Rally
title this weekend! She did very well, receiving scores of 193,
191, 195 and 188 (she needed the fourth trial as she had to get
three legs under 2 different judges and her first three legs
were all with the same judge). A qualifying score is 170 out of
200, same as in regular obedience.
On Friday she also tied for High in Trial and had to go
into a run-off with another dog. Again they scored the same,
but Taya's time was faster so she got a HIGH IN TRIAL!!!
