stables. Anchor's Seaside - "Sailor"
Sailor was inspected on Sept 5, 2009 with the American Sportpony Registry and passed with First Premium Registry #USA008P2169970908
Sailor is a young weanling colt who stands presently 12.3 hands at the withers, he is a beautiful strawberry roan colour with stripe on the forehead and white hind socks. He will finish as a beautiful gray like his dam. He is a sweet, outgoing and confident pony.
He has already begun his training in preparation for the conformation shows of the American Sport Pony. He should finish as a medium to large pony size. The American Sport Pony Registry Inspection is on Sept. 5 2009. Sailor passed the inspection and now the show career will begin for 2010. He should make a beautiful Hunter type pony.
2010, Sailor is now 2 years old and showing great promise for the hunter jumper ring as he loves to jump fallen trees or jump into the sand ring when I ride my horse Dakin. Bold jumper with super form and scope.
Sailor is over 13 hands high, as a 2 year old. He has begun his training, introduced to the saddle & bridle and currently lunging. He loves to be played with and fussed about so training started early. Nothing bothers the boys and I have started even road work with them both. Getting them used to traffic and showing them new things. It is fun to work with the pony boys.
Sailor has nearly lost his winter coat and is a beautiful roan grey with silver mane & tail. New photos coming soon with them - all dressed with saddle & bridle.
